James Myers

James began dancing at the age of 6. He studied breakdancing and hip hop at a local dance studio where he earned multiple titles from both regional and national competitions. James competed on “So You Think You Can Dance” with the Bollywood-Hiphop fusion team “Wanted Ashiqz” and has worked as a background dancer for several artists, including opening for the Jonas Brothers with Elle Winter. He was a member of the hip hop crew, Royal Thieves, that competed in Los Angeles at Monsters Dance and also performed at The Carnival: Choreographer's Ball in NYC. James started teaching and choreographing while earning his degree in Audio Engineering. He fell in love with his new role in dance and strives to bring a fun and engaging atmosphere to his classes. James enjoys incorporating all elements and techniques of hip hop into his choreography and draws inspiration from his everyday life and hobbies.
